Hosted Exchange: How Many Email Accounts?
Monday, September 15th, 2008When you go through a regular internet company to get your email, you may have access to ten or so different email accounts. When you use hosted exchange, you have access to hundreds of different email accounts. Why would you need so many?
• Employees – if you have a number of employees at your business, each one will need at least one email address. If you want to make things easier on yourself and make them happy at the same time, you may want to give each employee the option of having a separate personal email address through your work.
• Business vs. Pleasure – you yourself may want to have more than one email address, simply because you can receive tons of junk email through a professional address, and if you keep your personal address fairly quiet, it will be easier to sift through your email.
• The Business – the business you own needs to have a few of its own email addresses. There should be an address for people to make inquiries to, an address for any human resources concerns, an address for orders, and maybe even an address for disputes and problems with your company.
The point is that you need to have a number of email addresses for any small or medium sized busines, and hosted exchange can give you the addresses you need.
