Scientists have discovered that lights that are left on in the bedroom, including lights from cell phones or iPods, can cause you to have a more difficult time sleeping during the night.

Seriously, count the number of glowing lights in your bedroom. You probably have an alarm clock that lights up, a cell phone, an iPod, and if your computer is in your bedroom you also have a wireless router blinking at you all night! This type of lighting is not a great way to get sleep and needs to be darkened as soon as possible. Alarm clocks are trickier, however, and you may find that you need to get an alarm clock that is not lit as brightly as the one you currently have.

Even your parents have got cell phones tucked away in a corner somewhere, yet no one can seem to connect!
