How Many Plugs do You Have?
Thursday, July 24th, 2008Some people do not have the capabilities to use the wireless sync offered by exchange email hosting. They can still use the exchange hosting services, but they are not able to connect wirelessly because they do not have a “smart phone”. This means that they’re tethered to some sort of wire or another. Dealing with all of these wires can get extremely confusing, and even if you happen to have a smart phone or PDA, you will likely have to connect it to something at some point in time. How can you learn how which wire goes to what?
Fortunately one website has recognized the need to learn how to differentiate between different cords and has provided a visual cue for those of us who need to know which cord goes into which hole. On Giz Explains, there is an illustrated guide to “every stupid cable you need” making it quick and easy to be able to understand which plug does what. After you figure out what cable you need to plug in your computer or your PDA so that you can access what you need from exchange email hosting, you can then label them with some masking tape to make it easy to figure out which cable is which the next time around!
