Want to Really Get Away?

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

A number of people use exchange hosting so that they can get away from the world without having to worry that they will actually lose touch with their friends or family. If you’re really looking to get away from civilization, you may wan tot check out the homes built by Our Planet Retreats. These homes are not only interesting to look at and unique, but are extremely inexpensive and are an excellent way to escape from the mundane.

These homes are built using fiberglass and other light materials. They have solar panels which heat up the home and give you heated water, and are reached by climbing up a spiral staircase. The locals in each of the tropical areas (including Vanuatu, Phillipines, and New Guinea) are the ones who are building these homes. The amazing thing? An unfurnished floating sphere in the woods costs roughly $2,500. For that small fee you can have a home nesting in the trees in a beautiful forest and, as long as you have exchange hosting and a wireless connection, you can still keep in touch with the rest of the world.
