Before you hire a hosted exchange server, you need to make sure that you are jumping into bed with the right people. Here are a few questions that you can ask to ensure that you get connected to a good hosted exchange server.
1. What are your average response times? If the company’s average response time is longer than 12 hours, you may not want to work with them. 12 hours in the business world can mean the difference between making it and failing.
2. How is your virus protection? Virus protection is huge, and you need to make sure that the company you hire has adequate coverage to keep your computer protected.
3. Can I reach your technicians all the time? If you can not reach the company’s technicians 24 hours a day, you will be unable to get emergencies taken care of.
4. Do I need to sign a contract? If you are just starting with a new company, try to avoid signing a contract that will lock you into a position you may not want to be in.
5. Can I add on to my services if I want to? Being able to add, or subtract, your services is a great thing, and can allow you to get exactly what you need for your business.
